HOUSTON Gala

It is finally time to go to Houston for the awards gala for the Hunting Art Prize. Here is hoping I don't bring my artwork back home, that it stays in the big city. My entry is "Thunderstorm--Canadian River". It is 30"X48", acrylic on canvas.

where does the time go....I can't seem to keep up any more.

Just attended the 50 th Anniversary of the Discovery of Natural Bridge Caverns, between San Antonio and New Braunfels, TX. This event had 500+ attendees, the filling and burying of a time capsule, and hearing the story of the discovery by the three remaining cavers: Joe Cantu, Preston Knodell, and Orion Knox. The fourth member of the discovery team, Al Brandt, passed away in 1998. Then there were tours of the discovery portion of the caverns, refreshments, and country western band for entertainment.
